Zombie pirate prepared for Hurricane Sandy
Residents in Virginia braced as Hurricane Sandy moved closer Monday morning.
FOX 5's Beth Parker ran in to one interesting character who was out for one last look at the Potomac River before hunkering down for the storm.
A man who claimed to be a zombie pirate – a 650 year-old zombie pirate – told Beth this was probably the worst storm he's experienced.
When asked if he was afraid of the storm the pirate replied, "Well how do you think I died?"

He told us he was planning on taking shelter during the storm which he hoped wouldn't disrupt his Halloween plans – he's considering dressing up as Barbie!
The National Hurricane Center has announced that Sandy is a post-tropical storm and losing strength but still has sustained winds at 85 mph. The eye has almost made landfall.
Forecasters say the storm is still a dangerous system and taking dead aim at New Jersey and Delaware.
