President Obama will visit Southeast Asia
According to Reuters, May 17-11, President B.Obama began a visit to three Southeast Asian countries of Myanmar, Thailand and Cambodia. This is Obama's effort to boost diplomatic strategy toward Asia in the second term.
The first stop of President Obama is Myanmar, marking the first time an incumbent president to this country. Thailand is the second leg of Obama at a time when the two countries are organizing several activities to commemorate 180 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations.
Final destination of the trip to South East Asia, Cambodia. There, he will attend the East Asia Summit (EAS) and the ASEAN leaders meeting.
