Canadian Carrier Telus Slashes iPhone 4 Price To $99 – iPhone 5 Launch Imminent?
Another sign that iPhone 5 launch is imminent. Carriers have started slashing the price of iPhone 4 ahead of the launch of Apple's next generation iPhone.
Canadian carrier - Telus is the first one to slash the price of 16GB iPhone 4 to CAD$99 from CAD$159.95 with a 3-year plan. Telus is offering iPhone 4 at this reduced price curiously only until September 7th.
According to recent reports, Apple is planning to launch the much awaited iPhone 5 on October 7th and start taking pre-orders on September 28th or September 29th.
Meanwhile, according to some reports, Best Buy will be offering iPhone 3GS for free with a two-year contract on August 22nd as part of a major promotion.
Would you be tempted to buy an iPhone 4 for $99? Or would you prefer to wait for Apple to launch iPhone 5?

It's about time.
ReplyDeleteI think Apple is making a big mistake launching a new-gen every year and slashing prices of the old gen. Are they expecting us to buy one of their phones every year? It's starting to get annoying!
